Itinerary

Days 1-3

Day 1

Arrive Johannesburg

Johannesburg, “Jozi” or “Joburg” for short, is the city best known as the financial hub and cultural metropolis of South Africa. Use your free afternoon to freshen up and visit either the Apartheid Museum, Nelson Mandela’s House in Soweto, or Constitution Hill, all of which provide incredible insight into the historical implications of the apartheid regime.

Day 2

Arrive Victoria Falls

Experience the beauty of Victoria Falls as soon as you land! Whether it’s the feeling of the spray on your face or the usual sight of a rainbow emerging from the Falls, this will surely be a sight worth remembering. It’s often raining in the rainforest during wet season so be sure to have your poncho! Choose between various optional activities, such as a lion encounter or a sunset cruise, to get your trip started the right way.

Day 3

Adventure Activities in the Falls

Today, we explore Victoria Falls National Park from all different perspectives! Experience the Falls in a different way, whether viewing them from above on a helicopter flight or bungee jumping over the Zambezi River. For those who want to get a little wet, there are canoeing and river rafting options in the surrounding areas.

Days 4-7

Day 4

Arrive Kruger National Park

Welcome to Kruger National Park! Start your journey with a game drive through the grounds of Kruger Park, beginning at sunset and proceeding into the night-time darkness.

Day 5

Full-Day Safari

Spend a full day looking for the Big 5! Experience the beauty of the true wildlife of South Africa and the silence of the vast outdoors of Kruger Park. Choose between a full-day safari or a sunrise and sunset safari.

Day 6

Panorama Route

Today's beautiful drive takes us along the beautiful mountains, hills, and waterfalls of Blyde River Canyon. We will stop at various scenic points, such as God’s Window, the Potholes, and the Three Rondavels, all providing fantastic views into the most beautiful part of South Africa. Revel in the scenery!

Day 7

Travel Day to Cape Town

Welcome to Cape Town, South Africa! With beautiful beaches, stunning mountain ranges, rich colonial history, and powerful stories of post-apartheid struggles, you are sure to learn a lot about the history of this city over the next few days.

Days 8-11

Day 8

Museum and Historical Tours

Today, we explore the beautiful Mother City and learn about the history of Cape Town. You will explore the Company’s Garden and St. George’s Cathedral, as well as walk the streets of colorful Bo-Kaap.

Day 9

Cape Point Peninsula

Today, we leave the central business district of Cape Town and head south onto the Cape Peninsula. Enjoy panoramic routes to Cape Point, Chapman's Peak, Cape of Good Hope, Simon's Town and Boulder’s Penguin Colony.

Day 10

Cape Winelands

Travel through the scenic mountain valleys of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, and Paarl, and taste the famous wine of South Africa, occasionally paired with cheese or chocolate!
