We round up the best of Southern Africa in this jam-packed 11-day trip that takes you through South Africa and Zimbabwe. This trip will show you the history and culture of one of South Africa’s biggest cities, Johannesburg, while also highlighting the beauty of nature and wildlife in Kruger Park and Victoria Falls. 

First, we explore the cultural metropolis of South Africa in JHB – visit Nelson Mandela’s house, walk through the eerie history of the Apartheid Museum and visit Soweto, the most densely populated township in the country. We move onwards to Victoria Falls, which is one of the seven natural wonders of the world and is certainly the largest waterfall of its kind, standing at 108 metres high and stretching 1,708 metres long. The first time anyone experiences Victoria Falls typically leaves them speechless. 

We end this exciting tour in Kruger Park, which is home to the “Big Five”,  lion, rhino, elephant, buffalo, and leopard. These are powerful and extraordinary animals that stand out as the strongest among thousands of African species. Kruger Park covers an area of 2 million hectares and its complex ecosystem makes it one of the most preserved natural parks on the African continent.
